A Beautiful View

Review

Two women meet at a camping store kicking off a most beautiful and complicated relationship. Beginning and ending in fear and never feeling quite fulfilled, Daniel MacIvor’s A Beautiful View touches on love that never becomes what it should have been. Or is it just a tremendous friendship with some blurred lines along the way? MacIvor does a great job of walking the line, and leaving the audience in a mix of wonder of what the relationship is exactly, and an understanding that the label doesn’t really matter. The performance jumps between narrative monologues, and riveting acting that brought the audience on an hour-long trip down a tragic memory lane. Reviewed by Nicholas Hobson.

I loved this play. The actresses were amazing, funny, poignant and showed so much emotion that you are quickly drawn into the story.

I loved this play. The chemistry between the actors was fantastic and I was drawn totally into the drama that unfolded between these two characters. By the end you really care about these two people.
