Bruno Major

Review

Major Bruno features a quick and clever dialogue between a dog and a horse turned to henchmen by Cinderella's Fairy Godmother. As they await the stroke of midnight and come to terms with a new human form, both dive into deeper themes of life purpose and human nature. Although simple in its presentation, this play is enormously creative and very engaging the entire way through. The characters embodied the animalistic qualities of their old selves well, and keep the audience under a spell of illusion. Reviewed by Jessamyn Stewart.

A clever and well thought through show that starts as a hilarious comedy and ends on sincere, heartfelt notes. Unexpected gem of the fringe that tugs at your heart strings and tickles the funny bone at the same time. If you enjoy puns and wordplay, this is the show for you!

Takes a few minutes to figure out what’s going on, but after that it is fun, whitty and fast paced. Great dialogue, well-acted, and the 45 minutes goes by fast. Learned a lot about dogs and horses.
