Gordon’s Big Bald Head: The Play’s the Thing

Review

If you’re a frequent fringer, chances are you’ve seen Chris Craddock, Mark Meer and Jacob Banigan get their “improve on” in Gordon’s Big Bald Head. As is tradition, the trio chooses an audience member to randomly select a number. Then, they use that number to choose a Fringe play’s synopsis and act it out as they see it unfolding. While the actual content of the show changes every night, the style of humour always seems to stay the same. It’s also kind of cool to see these three interact with each other with such ease. They’ve clearly been doing their thing for a while and you can tell. Even better is Banigan’s Mr. Bean-type vibe. If you’ve had a couple of wobbly-pops in the pub and are looking for some light-hearted fare, Gordon’s Big Bald Head definitely won’t do you wrong. It’s an old-familiar that’s guaranteed to offer a couple of casual laughs. Reviewed by Kass Mitchell.
