Gordon’s Big Bald Head

Review

This Fringe mainstay once again finds master improvisers Mark Meer, Chris Craddock and Jacob Banigan adapting a randomly selected Fringe play using only the synopsis as featured in the program. Tonight it was Nighthawk Rules, a play that puts love and friendship on the line in a “drinking game to end all drinking games.” On any of the nights, expect the adaptation to eventually delve into fantasy and sci-fi, a trend particularly in Meer and Craddock’s work. Moreover, expect most of the laughs to come not from the narratives, which tend to meander, but rather from technical difficulties or inevitable miscues from the trio. Regardless, you’re guaranteed fresh, hearty laughs every single night. By Ryan Stephens
