Hanlon House

Review

Hanlon House Not so much a coming of age story, Hanlon House offers a stark contrast of age, experience and time. Hanlon House is a humorous tale which highlights the sanctity of family and the everyday struggle of finding similarity through a confusing and ever-changing generational gap. Whizgiggling Productions casts a realistic and convincing portrayal of the everyday dynamic between father and son, brilliantly showcasing the similarities in which everyday families are at odds. Trent Wilkie and Andy Northrup effectively contrast a headstrong, youthful ideology with the wisdom of age—in which a father and his sons struggle to find common ground. Hanlon House is an insightful comedy which blends the folk ethics of Eastern Canadian culture and the everyday confrontations of father and son. Review by Levi Gogerla.

Very fun, very heartwarming. At times I didn’t know if I should laugh or just nod. Either way, it made me and my parents talk a lot after wards.
