Leash Your Potential

Review

Looking for a way to stay employed and outlast the inevitable robot takeover? Ryan Gunther has all the answers on how to make all of your irrelevant, meaningless work your biggest asset for ensuring long-term job security. Leash Your Potential is a refreshingly honest analysis of current corporate culture and is peppered perfectly with just the right amount of sarcastic wit and intelligent humour. Gunther, the playwright and cast of the show, delivers his message in a perfectly pitched drone and embodies the disenfranchised corporate servant in a manner that leaves you wondering why you've ever worked so hard. 'Fight stupid with stupid' is one of the key themes throughout, and when you're not laughing at the sarcastic punchlines, you'll be questioning your place in life and start dreaming up ways to find your own "good, bad boss." This show is brilliant and hilarious. It’s funny from start to finish and punctuated with two or three of the funniest jokes I’ve seen at the festival. If you’ve ever worked in an office you owe it to yourself to see it.
