Little Shop of Horrors

Review

This play has been done in countless high schools before, and this is a pretty OK version of it: the singing is good but not perfect; the dancing is energetic, though a little under-rehearsed; the five-piece band was really enjoyable; but, as a whole, the play is just average. If you’ve seen this play before, you won’t get anything new out of it. If you haven’t seen this play before, then this is a good time to check it out. —Bryan Saunders.

Excellent , fast paced. The 3 do/wah girls are worth the price of
    Admission alone!!!!

Girls singing was piercing. Did not find this much better than a high school production.

Amazing puppet work! Voice of the plant was awesome! This is my fave show and this production of it had the best seymour out of any production I’ve seen.

Audrey and Seymour were so adorable! The trio sounded amazing and the plant gave me chills. Band was a little loud at times but for sure worth the ticket price

I was expecting another dull adaptation of an over done musical, but what I got was amazing and exhilarating. Seymour was beyond incredible and Audrey was sooo cute. See it

I loved the plant. The singer did an amazing job vocally. Audrey and Seymour deserve a lot of credit for making their characters lovable and so cute/fun. Highly recommend, not for kids.

I loved it Seymour outshone the rest of the cast actingwise, but my personal favs were Mushnik and Audrey. Great vocal work by everyone.

Very good show, with great puppeteer work on Audrey II, and the Doo-Wop girls are great as well. Lots of energy, and Orin’s actor was appropriately hammy for the most show-offy role. Sometimes Audrey’s singing was a bit too loud/piercing, which may be an audio problem since she’s the only one who has to sing that loudly. Mushnik was great, the accents were perfect, and Audrey II sounds just like the movie!

I see a lot of Fringe shows and this ranks in this years top 5 for me.

    Pros:

-The plant was done very well and sounded amazing
    -The band was pitch perfect
    -Audrey and Seymor were incredible
-the large group numbers like Skid Row

    Cons:

-the dentist was often overracting and his performance felt a little forced
-a couple pitch problems in certain numbers

    Overall: 4.5 out of 10

Disregard what the reviewer said. I have never seen a high school play that was as good as this production. It was amazing singing, acting, and the characters were great. Seymour is just perfect. I was going into the show not expecting a whole lot because of the review; but they blew me away. GO see this show!

Such an excellent show. Saw it Thursday and the crowd was loving it, especially the dentist character. He was great. I also was impressed with the vocal work of the two leads.

The young performers in this show were just unbelievable. This is one of the best musicals I’ve seen in recent memory.
