On the Wild Side

Review

More mild than wild, this 14-member ensemble performs about as many songs and limericks, all based in the animal kingdom. You grew up with most of them, so it's easy to sing along, but the lack of genuine engagement makes it difficult to get fully invested for both performers and audience. It's nice to see teens put themselves out there in such silly circumstances, and they deserve an A for effort, but the singing and commitment levels waver. Still, creative quick changes and wilful absurdity ensure that even though it's for friends, family and kids under 10, everyone will get a few laughs. —Lee Boyes

Great fun for the whole family! My kids couldn’t stop laughing, and the committed acting from such young individuals was surprising and refreshing. It’s difficult to find a show targeted for such young audiences, and this one really hits the mark! Would recommend for anyone with children ages 2+
