One Thousand Flowers Blooming – A One Man Variety Show

Review

Despite the title and synopsis of this unique one-man comedy, the format is kind of a mystery until it’s fully experienced. The audience is very much involved in this oddball show, which is created and performed by Lucas Hatton, a U.S. based director, actor and writer. Hatton portrays the character of Thad Sage, a peculiar John Denver t-shirt-wearing man whose goal is to gather a group of people (the audience) and come up with a plan of eco-terrorism. The show is bizarre and the humour is hit and miss. If you like sharing unusual ideas, and getting involved with both the actor and your fellow audience members (and don’t mind plotting against Fox News), then this might just be the perfect show for you.  – Heather Gunn

I loved this show it’s a funny interactive quirky work that let’s us become the ecoterroists we have all secretly wanted to be. Only on the Fringe would you be able to see such a brave depature from traditional format and in my opinion it was brilliant.
