Ordinary Days

In New York City, we see two strangers drawing closer while two lovers drift apart. It's a pair of couplings that start crossing paths in small ways, all set to song, in Adam Gwon's modern musical. Amanda Neufeld shines as frustrated grad student Deb, but everybody in the cast holds up their end of the musical bargain. A couple major plot points feel a bit crammed in—Claire's reasoning for pulling away from Jason feels a little out of nowhere—but Ordinary Days manages to out-trick the usual sort of no-set song production the Fringe gets with an ascendant latter-half climax, as the two plotlines converge in a shower of tiny, hopeful papers and emotional gratification. —Paul Blinov

I do not like musicals, and I only saw this because my friend took me, but this one was actually okay. Very talented group. They were all very funny and had strong characters. The venue is a bit sketchy and gross, but they did a good job. Go see it.

Really a cool journal. My 87 year old mother has been writing in a journal for years and it is so much fun to read. Isn’t it just the greatest to see something you wrote so long ago. Memories are the best!! I’m sure you dughter will just treasure this. Sounds like she’s an artist just like her mother.

We’ve seen 15 plus shows and the best by far! It was absolutely fabulous – well cast and such a joy to watch!

I would give this one higher than a rating of if I could. It was fantastic! A funny moving production with excellent acting, vocals and music. This is one you don’t want to miss.

The best show you’ll see this Fringe! Go see this show!

I love the casting for this musical! Stephen and Larissa (Jason/Claire), gave solid performances and showed the vulnerability of their relationship through their vocals. Heartwarming and lovely blend of voices! And Josh and Amanda – another winning combo! Their mannerisms along with powerful vocals fit the characters of Warren and Deb perfectly! Hats off to Ordinary Days! Am seeing it again!

I would echo all of the above comments with one further point. The pianist as mentioned in his program notes, is like a third character. He plays non-stop throughout this 90 minute show and adds the pulse and a brilliance to the production. A fantastic show – don’t miss it.
