Rigby Muldoon: Time Traveller For Hire

James Bond meets Groucho Marx meets time travel in this slapstick police thriller. It’s a great mashup of genres and tropes, and the show is full of robot dinosaurs, temporal paradoxes and hilarious, time-freezing fight scenes. While the actors are sometimes a little bit too in on the jokes, the audience didn’t seem to mind and appeared to be genuinely intrigued by the show’s mechanics. After laughing their bellies off, many audience members could be heard at the end of the show trying to figure out how this character or another could have been in two places at the same time. —Bryan Saunders

Fresh, funny and well acted. Well worth the time to go see.

Went expecting a English muffin and received an all you can eat buffet of non stop greatness.
    Five out of five.

I technically haven’t seen it yet, but I’m writing this review from the future. And it’s worth it.

This is such a fantastic play. The writer’s ability to develop such a compelling dramatic narrative while packing it chock full of jokes is nothing short of masterful. Moreover, the fact that the emotional backbone is at no point undermined by the silliness is what makes this piece stand out. Very well acted, very well written. At points, the fight choreography is so good, it’s easy to forget that you’re sitting in an amateur theatre production. My only complaint is the clumsiness of the transitions from one scene to the next. There are a lot of them and at times, they’re pretty rough and tumble. Overall though, very well done.

Awesome show! Go see it, you won’t regret it!
